WHAT CAN YOU DO? If you are the PARENT of a young child, learn what quality child care is. Ask your care provider questions that help you determine if the highest standards are being met. Ask how you can help your provider improve quality care. Encourage your provider to take advantage of training and other resources to improve the quality of the care being provided to your child. If you are an EMPLOYER, help the parents in your workforce identify quality child care providers. Stay informed for your employees’ children. Recognize the role of good child care in preparing your future employees. Contribute to WC4C’s initiative to improve child care quality and affordability. If you are a member of an ORGANIZATION serving Williamson County’s youngest children and their families, join us in advocating for child care quality improvements and more affordable child care. Help us align our work with yours, to use public funds and private donations in ways that bring about sustainable change. Add your voice to ours as we speak out to ensure that every child reaches school ready to learn and prepared to succeed. |
