Williamson County Community Coordinated Child Care (WC4C) is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure and promote quality, affordable and accessible early childhood education and care for young children in Williamson County, Texas. Such early education and care for children provides a foundation to support and strengthen healthy families.
Program Areas:
Child Care Subsidy Program - Through collaboration with other organizations, WC4C subsidizes child care on a sliding scale basis for parents who cannot afford the cost of child care. This care allows parents to be gainfully employed and/or to obtain the education and training necessary to secure and maintain employment, with the goal of developing self-sufficient families.
Child Care Provider Training – WC4C provides continuing education and training opportunities for child care providers throughout the community to ensure quality care for all children.
WC4C Child Development Center – In partnership with Georgetown Health Foundation, WC4C has established a licensed child care center, serving infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The center provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes positive and healthy development of young children.
