WC4C is offering  a special scholarship opportunity for Williamson County Child Care Services (CCS) Providers:

“Early Words”– Pre-K Literacy Training
20 Hours of FREE Training
for Pre – K Teachers

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Dates: October 30, 2010, December 11, 2010, February 19, 2011, April 9, 2011

Location: Community Resource Building 805 W. University Georgetown, TX 78626

Teachers must complete scholarship application and submit by Sept. 30, 2010. Limited enrollment: 40 teachers. Only one Pre- K teacher from a center may apply for the scholarship & must commit to attending all 4 Saturday Trainings.

Each teacher will receive a teacher’s resource book titled, Literacy, The Creative Curriculum Approach. Additionally, upon completion of all 20 hours of training, each teacher will receive Pre-K Literacy resources for their classroom.

Funding is made available by a grant received from United Way Williamson County.
